Been thinking of installing Ubuntu, have some questions.

I haven't used a Linux OS since I had Yellow Dog on my PS3, nor do I keep up with anything Linux lately so bare with me.

What would be the best and most user-friendly way of installing the OS,through Wubi or should I download the iso image? If I go the Wubi route that will set up a virtual partition inside my C drive correct? So I could just allow say 20 GB of my HDD to Ubuntu and the rest with Win 7? And it's simply boot into Win 7 or Ubuntu? Also is there really much that Ubuntu can do that Windows can't or do better? Or is it even worth getting for the average person? I do some gaming as well and already know Windows pretty good.

    Thanks
