Using RPM to update Wireshark
Hi all,
I want to use rpm as a means of updating files(for a plugin) for a pre-installed copy of wireshark.
Essentially, the user who downloads my rpm would have a copy of wireshark already installed. My rpm would then modify that installation to include my plugin.
This way anyone who wants the plugin won't have to recompile wireshark with the plugin source. They would use the rpm file.
Is there anyway this can be achieved?
Thanks,
Dave
