I know what you mean nukes, but not everyone is keen to wade through stuff to get it working. I'm a bit of a fiddler myself, but when it takes me a whole night to get my network connection running it's a bit frustrating.

I think College Linux has a place to help those who just need a working OS, where currently windoze seems to reign. It may help colleges and universities reduce the TCO by not having to license all of their student stuff to M$.

Be interesting to watch it evolve as a distro, anyway.

I know it can be fustrating, but I don't have much of that trouble as I connect to the internet via my home LAN, so I don't have o worry about dial-up accounts and such to bog my machine down. Just to put it in perspective, not even Smoothwall would work on my network.
Now just to download an IRC client so I can find that guy you PMed me about.
[edit] Got XChat and guess what? The channel's empty, I just hope they check the logs.
