Learning Powershell
If you havent noticed lately PowerShell in Windows is becoming the norm and with future OS/application releases of Window (unless you have been living under a rock). For some windows administrators this is going to be a very tough move since they grew up on the GUI and havent really done much when it comes to command line anything (unless they were forced to do it for a fix of some sort). Python for kids
For a while now I've always wanted to learn about programming but I have ADD when it comes to the python manuals or any kind of programming language books that are out there. Its like as soon as I open the book my mind just stops working and wants nothing to do with what im about to read. This has been something that has been holding me back for a very long time in my IT career and it was pretty frustrating to me since I really think I would benefit learning some kind of programming language
Battlefield 3 server timeout issues
I was experiencing timeout issues after being in the game no more than a few minutes.
To fix this I had to go into services start > run > services.msc
find discovery and UPNP device host and stop both services and disable them from starting up.
Cleared up my problem!

For those going through the guide, under the Information gathering section and the Dradis framework. It looks like dradis is not installed by default under the latest version of backtrack I'm using (v5 r2)
to install it is simple, do apt-get install dradis
