What to do now that the Olympics are over?
Like many Americans I was glued to the TV for the last two weeks watching some of our best athletes take on the best in the world. NBC and what I'd say was the worst broadcasting schedule ever derailed my sleep patterns.
I was forced to stay up until 2-3am to watch some of my favorite sports. I have no clue who it was at NBC that thought this plan up but they should be fired! Actually I'd like to see NBC's exclusivity removed allowing other networks to get in on the action. Maybe then
My Lawsuit Against Mahalo.com Looks Inevitable
As posted in my previous blog I've been fighting with Mahalo.com to be paid for work done back in October and November. I made pretty much every attempt possible to reach an agreement and avoid going through the court process. But things never got ironed out. And with less than a week remaining the chances of them paying up are beginning to look fairly dim.
If you want to get caught up on the full story its all covered over in My Blog.
My last contact with them was
Invloved in a drive by shooting
Thursday Night/Friday Morning at about 12:15am while I was hanging out at my local watering hole we had a drive by shooting.
From the information we can gather 2 guys drove by and shot 3 rounds from a shotgun through two of the front windows. No one was seriously injured, a few minor cuts from glass and a BB or two. I personally got pelted with few BB's but nothing serious. Which is fortunate as I was standing right in the line of fire.
Aw with any bar they've had a few
Fighting Mahalo.com to get paid
Most people around here don't know but back in July I started working for the start-up social search engine Mahalo.com. I was working from home as one of their "PTG's" and eventually worked my way to becoming a mahalo mentor and eventually reach the next level of RFTG (remote full time guide)
Basically we quality controlled pages, trained PTG's and help answer questions about the page building process.
So fast FWD to the end of November and we get this story
