Using a Wok?

Does anyone know how to use a Wok, can you use them on an electric range? Mine has a metal ring I'm unsure if thats the base or what it is for. I have never actually used it.
Tokyo Game Show 2007 9/20-9/23
The Tokyo Game Show is coming up September 20, 2007 through September 23, 2007 with the 22nd and 23rd open to the public. So is anyone going to the TGS? I've heard there is going to be some cool stuff there but I will have to wait to watch it.

Google Finances X Prize for Private expidition to Mars.
Google on Thursday announced it has sponsored the Google Lunar X Prize, a robotic race to the moon with a purse of $30 million.
The contest invites private teams from around the world to build a robotic rover capable of roaming the lunar surface for at least 500 meters and then sending video, images and data back to Earth, among other feats. The idea behind the challenge is to urge private industry to develop new robotic
Moonlight Fire

Well the Moonlight Fire in the Plumas and Lassen National Forest in the Northeastern corner of California, Supression cost so far for the fire have totaled $15.5 Million with 3,200 personnel in 97 crews, 16 helicopters, eight air tankers, 187 engines, 35 water tenders, and 45 dozers. The fire has grown to more then 64,000 acres and 100 square miles, wind directions changed and forced the fire back on itself allowing fire crews to increase containment to over 50%.
Not in Flint, as I understand.
