Tablet PCs

I've been toying with the idea of getting a Tablet PC. I'm not too sure as to which one though.

What do you think?

i dont really see a need for them unless you really suck at typing....all it really is is a laptop with a touchscreen

I dunno, I guess it's my PDA growing on me. I do like the idea of having a touchscreen.

Well, now that I think about it, if it's just a notebook with a touchscreen, why not get the Tablet PC and get an extra touchscreen? They cost about the same.

yes but it is probably 2-3x slower

but yes i really love my pda too its kinda hard to get it to recognize the words i write so i take my time to type it on the little onscreen keyboard because i dont want to carry around a keyboard thats why i have a pda and not a laptop...well and because it turns on really fast too

It can't be that slow, I'm seeing some with 1.4-1.7 GHz Centrinos.
