The staples here carries a very nice hard case, looks like an attorneys briefcase. About $59.00
They also have a silver metallic unit made for smaller lappys for $39.00.
I prefer a hard case for maximum protection, and folks don't know for sure you got a $1500.00 item inside, might just be some documents.. |

Zero Halliburton Z5's are GREAT---I wouldnt use anything less, had a softside 50$ seemingly high quality case first (Targus)---guess it depends on what you are trying to protect...(Z5 is not inexpensive at about 250$) http://www.zerohalliburton.com |

Ive used the ZERO's for awhile for travelbags, so I went to one for the laptop after not trusting the softside---Pelican makes killer cases as well which I use for camera gear and electronics---I just looked they also now have a couple laptop cases, watertight, airtight, dust proof, and above all crush proof---and cheaper then the ZERO line... http://www.pelican.com/main.htm |

Hey GroundZero3,
I've been using a Targus Leather Notebook case for almost 4 years now. It travels with me on a daily basis, but it still looks brand new! It's a bit pricy at $100, but when you consider the price of the notbook that you are trying to protect, it's well worth the price, IMO.
Here's a link: Targus Leather Notebook Case

Hmm, I went with orginal Dell all leather bag for my Dell lappy. lots or room for extras, storge pocet for my lappy's AC adapter and cord, has a cell phone pocket for my cell, 3 section divide area for paper work. 2 zippered pouches inside for coin. keys, whatnot. lined padded zippered pockets inside for CD roms and one for a extra Hdd, a pocket for floppies, a lined storge pocket for my cd drive, one for my pcmica modem and nic, pen holder, pager holder, it's lockable, built in work shelf to write on.
the main area for the lappy has adjustable velcro cushions to keep the lappy snuggly in place, lots more goodies too. it was boo coo costly tho.. I love it..
