| Recommend a laptop for college use!
Hi guys, I have a cousin who will be going to school in the fall. She'll be away from home and what not. Looking for something that will be good, but not too good. Video gaming won't be a concern, just something that will allow her to do the research essay typing, and constant AIM conversations.
I would prefer something in the $1,000 range, so any recommendations would be great. I will let you know of more details when I find them.
Newegg has this: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...115-125&DEPA=0

I will soon start receiving all the weekend affiliate deals for ResellerRatings. If I see anything interesting in her price range, I will be sure to drop you a line.

If it plays a movie every now and then, she'll be happy. |

been using Dell For years now....BUT I STRONGLY RECOMEND THE EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THE SCREEN....these things have a tendancy to get a little screwy after a few years, especially if you are constantly moving it around. |
