Hi Thumpit!

Welcome to TechIMO!

I havent been able to find any diagrams of your laptop hopefully someone else will have the info, but I urge you to take it to a professional shop to have this work done. While you may be able to fix it notebooks are notoriously hard to fix.

I dont want to force it open,

If you van find the rioght LCD panel, it should be a cinch - the plug to the main part of the lappy should be just below the hinge!

Tanks for replying... but how to open it safely ?

I'm sure once opened it shouldn't be dificult to fix.
my screen flickers sometimes and if I move the screen a tad it stops therefor I'm assuming it's just the connections... however I need to know how to open it safely!!!
If you know please help... I can't find any info anywhere.
thanks again
Galore.

How to open the buttons plate

THought I should forward this: thanks be to lappie
I know how to open the top button plate.
Look at the the top button plate next to the screen.
On the left side is the LED for the volume mute.
When you look a little to the right (about 4 centimeters), there is a little hole in the top plate. You have to stick
a tiny screwdriver or paperclip or something in there and push down. At the same time you have to slide the top plate to the left.

At first it wouldn`t move, so I used just a little screwdriver on the right side of the plate to help it move.
Don`t force anything! If all goes well, the plate should slide gently off to the left.

Now you can reach the screws off the screen and the connector of the screen on the videocard.
