| Good Deal?!
I am going to buy a laptop in the near future and I am wondering if you think this is a good deal for the price. I am going to use it as an entertainment center as well as a word processor.
Dell Inspiron 9300 $1400 Pentium® M 730 Processor (1.60GHz/533MHz FSB)
Microsoft® Windows® XP Home Edition
17 inch UltraSharp™ Wide Screen UXGA Display with TrueLife™
256MB DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz 1 Dimm
64MB ATIs™ Mobility Radeon™ X300
60GB 7200rpm Hard Drive
Integrated 10/100 Network Card and Modem
8x CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer write capability
2915 Internal Wireless802.11 a/b/g,54Mbps
6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery (53 WHr)
2Yr Ltd Warranty, 2Yr At-Home Service, and 2Yr Technical Support I'm not too worried about low RAM for movies because I plan on buying more for it anyway.

That price is also after tax and everything including shipping |

You realize that you won't be able to record TV or watch TV without a seperate USB TV tuner right? That card doesn't have Video-in of any kind, just output.
I see that dell offers a USB TV-tuner for 150 dollars.. but you could find one cheaper from a third party. |

Yes, the USB unit will work. I was simply pointing out that the system specs you listed above wouldn't have Video-in, and that you will need the additional USB device.
