| Where can I find this?
I need a laptop within the next week and I am thinking of an I9300 with these features but I am not sure if I should pull the trigger just yet.
Im looking for a Pentium M Processor 1.6 533MHZ or above
15"+ high quality monitor
DVD RW combo drive
60GB 7200 or higher HD
128MB Video card
802.11 b/g
good warranty
Does anybody have an idea of where I could find all this for around $1400?
I dont really mind low RAM bc I can always buy more... |

That coupon is 750 off. I've not seen the 9300s and I'm no laptop expert, but I've worked on an 8600 that was very nice. My guess is that is quite a decent deal. Go check it out. |

Do you think that the monitor and graphics card would be a good fit if I wanted to watch/record TV and watch/burn DVD's?
also is there very much difference between a 60GB HD and a 60GB 7200rpm HD?
that coupon is really quite handy! |

The 7200RPM drive would probably have a wee bit faster reponse. If you click the "Help me choose" text for the drives category, then details, it will explain the differences. The 7200 RPM drive has a slightly faster seek time but has 8MB vs 2MB cache. Real world....not a huge difference.
So far as watching and recording TV, I believe you would need additional hardware unless you mean internet accessed TV programs. Yes on the DVD use though. |

yeah i figured id need an external tv tuner and stuff, but I wanted to know if the graphics card and screen were good enough quality to play tv and movies without any trouble or loss of quality
I wasnt too sure if Dell just wanted me to buy the upgrade (Help me choose) so I figured Id ask the forums about it |
