Velo 500 flash card access

Can anyone shed some light on how to access the 4 meg flash card I have installed in my V500? I see no directory in the explorer for it, and if I try to create a directory called storage card, it denies me, maybe because it's already there somewhere? I have it set to show me everything and hide nothing in the dir tree. I must be missing something.......

Go to http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/philips/philips.htm and download the 500 FTL application, which you need to format the flash card. I know it works with Velo cards but may not work with a different brand. Semper Fi.
