Does anyone have any information on when the popular computer makers are going to revamp their product lines or release new laptops? I know there are some really cool new technologies coming out for laptop computers, but I haven't heard about the product rollout schedule from any of the major laptop manufacturers (HP/Compaq, Gateway, Sony, Toshiba, Fujitsu, etc.)
I ask because I'm interested in getting a new laptop, but would like to get one that's cutting edge and "newly released" rather than one that has been around for 8 or 10 months. I know that by the time any laptop hits the retail shelves here in the US, the technology inside it is usually over 6 months old, but I'd rather it be 6 months old than 10 or 12 months old... get what I'm saying? So, anyone have any idea when the new units will be out? Thanks!
