Dell i9300

Heyo!

I just got my Dell i9300 Laptop not too long ago, i'm pretty happy with it except for one thing. I'm just wondering if it is normal. When i leave my laptop for awhile the screen goes back, screen shuts off for power saving/stand-by, then when i move my mouse to start up the screen again, it comes on then it goes out again, for a few seconds then comes back. It only happens once though. Is it normal?

That sounds normal - my IBM T-41 does a similar thing when it's coming out of sleep mode. I don't just move my mouse though, I have to press a specific key - it'll come back on, then the screen will go black for another second or two...then that's it, it'll be back on and I'm back to the login screen.

Alright thanks, i was curious because this was my first laptop. Its my desktop replacment for college. I got tired of lugging around the PC between my house and college.
