how does this work? It is where you call for free then to get some help you have to pay?

Well, Compaq is gone to HP now, don't know what the policy currently is, but I have bad taste in my mouth for when it was Compaq...

I had a nice Compaq PC, out of warranty (1 year, 1 week old). I had a question to ask them...was told it would cost me $30 to ask the question. Forum rules prohibit me from posting my response
