Is my laptop fit that?
I have a laptop Acer 292 LMi...OS is Windows XP Home by default. I'm intending to use Linux Red Hat or Mandrake 9.0....but i'm confused with someone who told me that no laptop will suit with Linux OS.. is that true? what should i do, let's say, that i only have one laptop, no PC.... any suggestion?

why are you switching to linux? for educational purpose? if not try live CD first before you install linux stuff.

whoever told you that dosen't know what they're talking about...any system half as good to run xp can easily run linux
