no i'm saying i went on newegg and it was like the second thing i saw and i thought i matched  , so it seemed funny to me at the time that i found something in like 10 seconds

I think I might go with a Fujitsu S6000 notebook, seems to be everything he needs. Also I might try and get my hands on a NEC LaVie LN500, it seems kind of cool. Has anyone used the LN500, all the reviews I've seen seem a bit vague (translated from Russian).
I'm trying to convince him to go with the ASUS W2 media notebook since he'll be buying a thin and light Apple Dual-boot laptop as soon as they're available. |

| if only they sold them here..
From all that i've read online, samsung laptops are very good in quality; it's just too bad they don't sell them here in north america though... otherwise that would be a good choice for you imo.
