Problem with notebook cd drive
Ive done everything from searching for drivers to manually removing and replacing the drive. You see I just ordered an Inspiron 6000 from Dell and I
have the basic CDRW/DVD Combo drive that it offers with the notebook. The drive
itself doesn't read product cd's, music cd's, or even dvd's. It will flash the
green light like it's reading the cd but nothing happens afterward and I get a
popup error message on my screen saying it can't find the item that's in my
CDRW/DVD combo drive.
This is a brand new notebook I got it today I just can't believe I got a
faulty cd drive because I need this for school in less then two weeks.
Anyone have a clue what to do? I already e-mailed tech support.

I watched the whole kick-off...unfortunately. As I knew a long time ago, the next-gen consoles are more all-in-one machines/social media boxes vs. gaming consoles. You can see that in the current...
