What laptop Assories do I need for....

I am planning to get a laptop soon, and I am totally unfamiliar with the accessories offered....

I plan to have a CD/DVD what do I need to hook into a motel TV to watch movies?

I want to send faxes from my laptop through my cell phone....

I also my want to go on line through my cell phone...

My cell phone is a Audiovox from Verizon and it has a place for hands free.

Also, performance wise, how good is shared video memory (set in bios) verses built in videl memory?

for movie watching on a tv you will need a tv out option. but the tv needs to be fairly new to have the ability to have a tv in

to hook up a cell phone your best bet is a PCMCIA ( get that confused often) card. most likley your notebook will come with two PCMCIA slots.

don't know about fax.

if your into gaming stay away from the shared memory. anything like word processing, surfing the web should be fine for shared video memory
