Selling a laptop, question

I have a laptop that I got for college, but no longer need, because I've moved to a desktop. It's been sitting in my room, but hasn't been doing anything, so I've been looking to sell it.

But the problem with me selling it, is that the fan on the power supply is broken (the PS still works, it just doesn't get cooled properly), and on start up, the screen is tinted red, but then whitens when XP finishes loading.

It's an M-Tech (about 3 years old now) P4 2.4Ghz, with 40 Gb HDD, 64 Mb Nvidia video card (440mx I THINK... but I can't remember for sure). It also has a DVD/CD-RW combo drive.

Do you think I can get this sold? If so, for how much. I've been looking at http://www.usanotebook.com/sellers.php but I don't think they'll give me a lot of money for it.

Any ideas or thoughts on price would be greatly appreciated.

You should go to ResellerRatings.com - Traders Forum and try selling it there.

With the condition it sounds like it's in, you may not get very much for it.

What's the model number?

Yeah, it still runs fine, I think the two bad things I mentioned are going to turn people away.

Also, what would be a good asking price? I don't want to look like a goober with a price that is too high.
