Hello,
So my retired parents have decided they want to take a two-month trip to Alaska this summer. They've already bought a small pop-up camper and plan on staying at campgrounds during the trip. My dad has charged me with finding them a cheap, possibly used laptop to take with them. Basically it will be used to check email and some slight web browsing through WI-FI (which apparently almost every campground has now) So there needs, as best I can tell, are:
light-use for email and web browsing
possible storage for digital pictures from camera
good battery life (they'll be on the road the whole time)
integrated, reliable Wi-Fi (a must!)
Their budget is around $200-$600 dollars, and as always cheaper is better. My mom has been convinced that Dell's are junk, so she doesn't want a Dell at all. I've never bought a laptop and am kinda clueless as to what brands are most reliable. Any suggestions??
