| Looking for decent laptop for $1000
I am trying to find a laptop with decent specs and with dedicated video that is actually decent for around $1000. At least X1300 or 9700 on board. Please post your links.
Please, I need one ASAP.
What do you all think of the ABS Mayhem G3 R34

What are you going to be using the laptop for? Gaming? Work? Will you be commutting with it? Is battery life an important issue? |

To me, seems like a good laptop. Nice video card, AMD, maybe throw in some extra ram. For the price, unless you can find something better, i would get it. |

I was thinking of replacing my desktop.
My desktop is the following.
AMD Athlon 64 Venice 3200+ E3 @ 2.6 GHz
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum
512X2 Corsair Value Select PC3200 CAS2.5
WDSE16 2500KS
Radeon 9800 Pro 128
Audigy 2 Sound
NEC 3540A DVD Burner
Thermal Take 420Watt PSU
I do not know how much I could get out of this system, I am hoping around $450 so I can get an Xbox360. |
