I have 2 toshiba laptops here but the model numbers on the bottom are all rubbed off. I can't figure out which laptops they are so I can't get the drivers. Anyone have any ideas on how to figure out exactly what models these toshibas are?
For future reference, notebook model numbers are sometimes stored in one of the BIOS indentification strings. You can view those strings from Windows with the freeware CPU-Z utility.
Another method is to search the manufactuers website based on the model of the laptop (i.e. Satellite or Tecra or whatever). Search based on that then check the specs on the results.
