PC2700 and PC3200 in laptop.

Hello,
I have a HP Compaq nx6120 laptop which has 512mb DDR333mhz (PC2700) ram installed. Can I add another stick of ram which is 512mb pc3200? I dont care if it only runs as pc2700, its just a lot cheaper to buy on e-bay than the pc2700 is.

lower speed ram will downgrade speed of the faster one.

it will work no problem.

ok great thanks. So If a I can get pc3200 cheaper than I can get pc2700 for and my system already has a pc2700 stick, I am beter off with the pc3200 then as it will run at the same speed as the pc2700 already installed?
