Question
Toshiba 1900 vs Sony Vaio GR370

Hi!

I've decided to buy a notebook and I can't decide between the Sony Vaio GR370 and the Toshiba 1900. They are both the same price here in Canada, both seem to have great specs. I would just like some personal opinions or experiences with these models to help me with my decision.

Thank you

Mark

well you were definitely right about them being basically the exact same. Everything but the CPUs are almost identical. According to Toshiba's website tho, the 1900 series comes with a 1.6Ghz P4 while the Vaio only has a 1.13Ghz. Sure you're not gonna really notice a difference but in the long run, I think it will be better. I was able to play with a brand spanking new Toshiba Satellite 5000 series laptop and my goodness it was a beauty. Granted, the 1900 wont be the same but I was really impressed with its visual quality. As far as looks go...the toshiba wins my vote The sony's are great too tho. Its a tough decision. Personally, I would go Toshiba because of bigger CPU but besides that...there really is no significant difference that would make me definitely pick one over the other.

Either notebook would be an excellent choice
