well i have asked this question many times in the past but never response. does any one know a good program that will allow me to monitor my cpu and graphics temps on my laptop ( maybe ram aswell if possible).
ive just been a little concerned cause im back in aus and dont want my new laptop to fry in the heat here. normallarely i wouldt be concerned with heat in a laptop but this one gets big hot spots in it, since its running a 8800 i can understand why. so please help me out a little dont let my new baby fry.

I use Speedfan myself. It works well..
U could use Nvidia's utility for the GPU. But i would think speedfan would pick up the sensor in the GPU also... |

How about Core Temp (provided you have a C2D CPU) & Rivatuner?
I'm not a Vista user, so I don't know if they are both compatible. |

This is an interesting Vista tip that may be helpful... Quote: |
before the operating system boots press F8 like you were going to boot into safe mode, then instead select the disable driver signing enforcement, and that should fix all your problems, this also makes atitool work properly
| Speedfan for CPU temp monitoring is supposed to work with Vista 32, but may have issues with 64.
Rivatuner for GPU temp monitoring is listed as having "limited feature set available" with Vista. |
