I have see other requests here, I have a PII/300 Mhz notebook that I need a little more horsepower from. Is it possible?

I have added 18GB Hd and 256MB memory and it is faster but I would like to get a little more out of this $3000 POS. Who knew that prices would fall like a rock in 1999?

I found one site that used Soft FSB to increase clock rate to 320MHz, but I can't find SoftFSB as it seems to have been removed from the authors web site. Any Ideas?

its best not to overclock laptops as the cooling they have in them are designed for default speeds.

your just asking for trouble wanting too.
