|  thinkpad help!
Hi, I recently got a thinkpad t60p for use in my new college life. However, it has developed quite a problem. Whenever I try to play and kind of graphically intensive game, it will at random times just STOP everything and go to standby mode for no reason! When I bring it out of standby mode the game is still running, but its only a matter of seconds before it decides to go to standby again. I'm confused by this, because the game has no problem at all performing before it goes to standby. I suffer no framerate slowdowns and it runs very smoothly at more than 100 fps, then goes to standby in seconds for no reason. The graphics card is a ATI Mobility FireGL v5200, which i can not find drivers for, but i have done windows update and installed all the updates, both high priority and optional. I have no idea what to do here, but I would very much like to play my games so please help me out. Thanks a lot  |
