Merging Personal and Business Information

I'm in a bit of a jam, i know very little about Blackberry phones and ive been presented with this situation.

I got my personal BB phone that i want to convert to my new companies BB server. In order to do that i need to wipe my phone, losing all my personal data.

Is there a way for me to Synch my phone after activation with my home computer that has everything stored and merge it with my now enterprise activated phone?

Using a BB Pearl 8810 on Cingular, let me know if you need additional info.

is your company ok with that?
Do they know you'll be putting personal contacts on it?

Do you currently sync your blackberry with a local Outlook connected to a PST or something?
If so just take your PST to work and copy your contacts etc into your work contacts.
