GateGP backlight issues...switch, inverter, or backlight????
Hi all,
My Gateway 4542GP has backlight issues, that I assume are caused by either the BL itself, the inverter, or the lappy cover switch malfunctioning. I haven't worked on laptops too much, and am wondering what is the most likely culprit, and best options to fix.
I can't see dumping big $$$ into it, with core2duo deals routinely @$400-$450.
