theres no response to the F10 key in the post and is stuck there. ive replaced the memory and still nothing. so i took out the hard drive, ram and battery then plugged it in, still nothing. im thinking that the cpu is bad, any other thoughts?
did you try erasing the CMOS memory? I had something like that and just by taking out the main battery and the MOBO´s battery for 15 minutes and then plugging the AC to turn it on the BIOS did everything correct.

no i havent, after i had put everything back and let it charge over night, it booted up. but it seemed after the cpu had be taxed for a few mins then it would lock up and id have to restart. but it would get stuck at the post again.
