Toshiba L10-114 with DVD-RAM Matsushita does not burn at all

I got a Toshiba L10-114 with a Matsushita uj-830s DVD-RAM... When I just installed the XP pro with the SP2 and after all the updates the laptop did everything perfect, and suddenly after a few days, started with the same problem, that its that does not burn, It starts, burns one song maybe two, and then just closes the disc and out... No matter wich burning software I use, I´d tried with the Win XP ROXIO, with NERO, with iTunes, with the windows media player and with SONIC, and tried on two brands of CD-R like LG and Verbatim. I cant understand what can be causing it. Can it be just related to the crappy drive? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

BIOS its already updated and I´m using the Toshiba´s provided Driver for the Drive.

Hi mate. Did you get this problem sorted?? I've got the Toshiba L10 - 300 with the same drive, with the same problem?????
