Dell does the same biometrics (finger print reader) look at their new Vostro's or Latitudes, its usually seen as a business accessory. I think HP laptops are more bloated and I like the construction and layout of Dell's laptops better. Depends on what your preference is, but if your only move point is a finger print reader, look farther many manufacturers are doing this nowadays.
I prefer Dell over HP any day, but thats just my IMO (Welcome to TechIMO)
