| Tablet laptops and graphic tablets
Has anyone experienced using a tablet laptop or a graphic tablet before? What are the benefits, what sort of things can you do with them? I'm considering my next laptop to be a tablet one, but I don't know if it's worth spending the extra money on.

Well...you can use the touch screen for a mouse or "typing". I'd certainly rather have a tablet, but they are quite a bit more expensive, so it depends on whether or not you think you would use it for handwriting/touchscreen.

I wonder if a tablet would be that much more powerful in programs such as photoshop, etc. hmm... :-/ I think I'm gonna have to rethink a laptop again, I would however like to see a decent deal on a good tablet with a decent resolution screen, most of the ones I see are something like 1024x768 or 1200x800.

1200x800 I see the most, but they were all 12.1" screens, which isn't too bad of a resolution for a screen that size. |

I'm interested in this HP model: HP Pavilion tx2000 Entertainment Notebook PC series specifications - HP Home & Home Office products
All the TX Series are the same, but I can't work out any significance difference between the models in the range, they just seem to vary by memory, video RAM, CPU really. |
