| Purchasing a laptop
I'm interested in buying a laptop for home use/multimedia. with a nice size glossy screen,wireles internet ect.... I've been going over different brand names and features, a bit confusing. I'm thinking HP, but what model ? I don't want to spend over $900 Cdn. Any suggestions?

Suggestion, wait a week or two.
In 2 days Intel is releasing it's new mobile platform, Centrino 2. The new processors alone will be faster and use about 30% less power. It includes extras like Wireless N and WiMax.

Even if the new Centrino 2's are more than $900 CDN, everyone should be trying to dump their old Centrino 1 spec systems. So you might be able to get a really good deal on one. If you can, wait a month or so after the Centrino 2 systems come out.
