If you develop any kind of fault with your Acer laptop, and need to send it to us for repair, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE backup all of your data, as if you have removed the original OS from your laptop (downgraded to XP for example) we WILL erase the HDD and put Vista back onto it. This is the LAW as we must only support the OS provided with the system, due to licensing regulations.
Just thought I would let you know, as we have a lot of complaints about this, as do the other manufacturers.
