New Battery Not Recognized - HP N3250
I have an old HP Pavilion N3250 whose battery had stopped charging, so I bought a replacement battery from e-bay. The seller had a very high feedback rating, and I received the product within a few days of ordering.
I took out the old battery (which no longer works) and put in the new battery. The battery charging light didn't come on, so I booted the laptop up and checked the battery status. It's simply telling me that the battery is "Not Present."
It recognized the old battery and says it's at 10% and charging (even though the old battery is drained and won't charge at all).
Question ...
Does anybody know why my laptop doesn't recognize that I've put a new battery in?Last edited by D'Arscone; August 1st, 2008 at 01:25 AM.

SAO is pretty good, but I took a break between the first and second arc while watching it.
