Changing Laptop RAMs

Can the Laptop RAMs be replaced with ones with higher capacity?
And can the laptop DDR2 RAMs be replaced with DDR3 rams?

yes, you can replace your laptop memory with higher capicity sticks, but they must be of the same type. you cannot use DDR3 in a laptop that uses DDR2 and vice versa.

It depends on the specs of your laptop. You'll need to read the spec sheets which will tell you the highest capacity a stick of laptop memory can be for your model laptop.

Older models limit you to 512MB or 1GB per stick. Newer ones don't usually.
