SODIMM vs SDRAM for a HP Laptop

I have a HP Pavilion ZV5000 (DP523A) laptop w/ 256 MB of PC2700 SODIMM 200 pin memory.
I want to add a 1GB strip. I see many listnigs for SDRAM, but few for SODIMM. My question is; these are separate terms, SODIMM for the type of package and SDRAM for the type of memory. Correct?

Will listings that just state 200pin PC2700 SDRAM work, or do I have to look for something the specifically states "SODIMM"?

No, they have to be SODIMMs. SODIMMs are physically smaller and designed for laptops.

Regular desktop SDRAM won't fit in the slots.
