| Ethernet connection on new Acer Extensa
I recently bought this laptop. Everything seems fine (if you don't mind Vista), except that I'm having a problem with my network connection. The wireless connection works fine (I can leech off someone in my neighborhood), but when I connect to my router with an ethernet cable, it tells me that a cable is unplugged.
Initially, the cable seemed to work, although intermittently. That cable was flaky in the past, so I replaced it with a newly-purchased CAT-6 cable, and now I get bupkis.
Bad cable jack, or what?
