Netbook recommendations?

Hey guys,

Decided I'm going to buy myself a netbook for Christmas, but am not really sure which one I want to get!

I'd prefer something that is $400 or less, though will go up to $450.

I'm mainly going to use it to type Word documents and listen to music when I travel or go to a coffee house.

No real preference between SSD or HDD, but the added storage would be nice (though I do have several large USB keys, and an external HDD I take with me when I travel).

Would prefer 1GB of RAM, as everyone who has 512MB in their netbook seem to kick themselves and want the added RAM.

Another point of consideration is the choice of Linux or Windows. Have a preference?

Completely forgot about that!

Either one is just fine with me, as long as the WiFi and video drivers are setup correctly!
