Mine doesn't have a switch. I wish it was that simple. I can't get the back cover all the way off.

Laptops are like rubiks cube the first time you take them apart with no instructions.
It took me 2 hours to take this Sony apart after someone (not Me) poured a whole glass of water into the key board.
I can remove the motherboard in 5 minutes now.

I am also working on a 4010. I cannot find the CMOS battery anywhere. Not under keyboard. Not anywhere on the bottom of the motherboard. Not anywhere ontop of keyboard.
The only place left is under the touchpad. I cannot figure out how to remove it without damaging it. Any suggestions?

I finally found the cmos battery. When you take the center cover off of the bottom. The cmos battery has a black rubber cap on it. It has two wires that go to a connector. Unplug the connector for 1/2 hour. Plug it back in and it resets the bios. After you remove the center cover, the cmos battery is located just under the remaining cover to your right. You will have to gently lift the remaining cover and pop the connector out with a pair of tweezers and it will also pop back in easily using tweezers. Good luck.

What do you guys think about netbooks?
Do you think they are better than laptops or worse?
I think the are better for travel but to seriously work with i prefer laptops.
