hot hp laptop

i just got a used hp dv2404 for free and i'm quite happy with it except the heat on the gpu geforce 6150 go it reaches 95c and everything else is cool cpu around 40-50 but also the hard drive gets hot because its touching the ground any suggestions i tried a cooling mat but only lowered temp 5 degrees. the fan doesn't increase because cpu temp. iv tried a bios update but nothing a fan controller would be nice but i have a air compressor so that's an option. thanks in advance
