That laptop is not going to do any gaming at all.
You simply are not going to find a gaming laptop at under $650. $200 more and you can get a lower end gaming laptop. |

That would play most games decently.
I'd be leery of a used laptop though, it likely has poor battery life unless that was replaced when they refurbished it. Expect to be required to have it plugged in for >2 hour use or >30 minutes of gaming. |

I have a sugestion for you, you can just check different websites which selling different kind of laptops for special purposes. For example as I know for Games Memory and Graphic Cards are pretty important.
There are lots of websites out there if you want to try them out, some of them are NewEgg.com, fry's.com and techtobuy.com
I hope it could help |

I'd recommend just getting a cheap dual core laptop with good battery life for school.
You'll notice with laptops that are designed for the gamer that they are bulky, have HORRIBLE battery life and are hot and loud. I speak from experience I've got an Asus gaming laptop that I bought for "school" like two years ago.
It was just waaaay too inconvenient to carry around and the battery could only last about one class.
Thats why now I've got one of those netbooks for school $400, lightweight and 10 hours of battery life.
Just safe until you can get a gaming desktop.

And not to mention, incredibly expensive. I made that mistake, and brought a Dell Inspiron 1720. Its not a full gaming laptop, but I decked it out to have all the best parts. Its crap, it is heavy, big, bulky, the battery sticks out at the back, its also really hot, and I spent way to much money on it. Really your better off getting a $400 standard laptop that is lightweight and easy to move around for school, and then save up and buy yourself a desktop that will be able to play cod4, bf2 and much more for less than you want to spend for your gaming laptop. |
