good (enough) netbook? ASUS Eee PC 1005HA (n280)

    this one:
ASUS Eee PC 1005HA Premium Crystal Black Intel Atom 1GB 160G 10IN 1024X600 WLAN BT Webcam XP Netbook

    link here:
NCIX.com - Buy ASUS Eee PC 1005HA Premium Crystal Black Intel Atom 1GB 160G 10IN 1024X600 WLAN BT Webcam XP Netbook - 1005HA-PU1X-BK In Canada.

    is this a good netbook?
should i wait.. i dunno why.. windows 7? i read it is suppose to be able to run on netbook-esque setups.

this one has the N280 processor. a step up from the more common N270 found in most most other netbooks i can find online. and it can have its RAM doubled to 2g, which is a good thing..

will be using for school purposes. not gaming, not video. what are thous opinions?

wait for a newer generation, perhaps once xp has been finally done away with,

or pick this up ... because its sweet

If a netbook is sufficient for your needs, then it's a sufficient netbook. Netbooks are designed for lightweight net surfing, some Office, movies, music, etc. They are more like a large PDA.

I think that's a pretty solid netbook. You could wait for windows 7, but I still see XP running better on those then win 7. No facts to back that up though.

Anywho, I think it would do great for school, you can always hook up an external monitor/kb/mouse, and use it more like a desktop once your back at your house.

    Just my 2.
