Will not disappoint me running autocad this semester? Autodesk - AutoCAD - System Requirements
Also, for any of you autocad enthusiasts out there, is there a big difference besides requirements, between 32 and 64 bit?
Another issue I ponder is the display requirements as opposed to what most laptops can handle? Quote: |

I'd say any laptop will disappoint you. There's a reason why rendering workstations are desktops, with large monitors, quad core (minimum), and high end graphics cards.
Unless you have $1700+ to spend, don't mind it being large and heavy, and plan on having it plugged in all of the time (1 hr lite use battery life, nothing when using autocad). |

Thanks Ex. The monitor I knew absolutely would be an issue. Sigh, I guess I will resign myself to an el Cheapo laptop that I really have little use for outside of research and writing on the go. |
