Wow I seem to be posting alot on this mobile forum.. anywayz
My dell Inspiron doesn't seem to be running at full speed and i was wondering if this is due to software like xp or just part of the hardware. I run taskmanager and look at the network speed and the cpu usage.
For networking... i have the 3com internal ethernet card 10/100. But in the networking section I never see the "network Utilization" reach about 1%? can you believe it..only running at 1% of 100...is this some glitch or my laptop...a limitation put in or something or is it my network I run at..I notice the same thing at my house..but since it's dsl I don't worry that much.
For CPU Usage: I hardly ever see the machine running above 15%..I normally have Kazaalite, aim+ IE, photoshop, and word open at any given point in the day. I would think that those alone should use more of the cpu...The reason I wonder is because of the stalls I have when moving from one app to the next..if the cpu would use more of itself would this stop the stalls from happening or is it just a pipe dream of mine?
