Mobile Hotspot - Best Ones Out There?
Trying to find the latest info for purchasing the most reliable, fastest speed, best coverage in mobile hotspots to which 4-5 people can connect. Cost is not really an option. Any suggestions??
Thanks!

HTC evo does hot spot.
Also I think the new ipad is supposed to do it.
You need it from a cellphone/EVDO/3G/4G connection right? Sprint offers some devices that hot spot tho reviews are sketchy.Please recommend TechIMO.com to your friends and family!

the iPad doesnt have the ability to be a hotspot.
Ive played with the Sprint one and it pretty much did what I wanted it to do. Of course any of devices you get will be limited by the coverage in the area you are (Ie MD it worked great, on the road to Del Rio Texas it didnt work at all while driving
)
The other thing is you have to be mindful of the more users you connect the slower its gonna be for everyone else!

Thanks GZ

some preliminary findings -
Virgin (Sprint) - Mifi 2200 device costs $149 at BestBuy, $40/month, coverage unknown at the moment.
Verizon - 2yr contract, $50 for device, $60/month, cover probably best in the West.
