Asus G73JW-XN1 Questions?
Hey all first and foremost just want to say thanks to everyone especially shyguy with helping me on my last pc build the thing is a beast
but now I am looking at mobile and I have found the Laptop listed in the title (Asus G73JW-XN1) here is a link,
Newegg.com - ASUS G Series G73JW-XN1 NoteBook Intel Core i7 740QM(1.73GHz) 17.3" 8GB Memory 500GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M
Now with you guys knowing that, I have read on tons of sites that ASUS return time for broken items is horrid. I do have 2 of there G60VX-rbbx05 model laptops and haven't had a single problem out of them. I was hoping maybe you guys could shed some light on the whole ordeal, Maybe some of you have had previous experience with ASUS returns and what not? I have heard that new-egg really takes care of you if you get a bad component but I have not as of yet. So if you guys know of a better review site then just the new-egg reviews and or the site reviews of the earlier model of the ASUS G73JH (<---- these reviews for this model are horrid which has me afraid to pop off 1700$ to have it sit in ASUS's shop for 2 months, I mean how much could 1 model really change? Granted they did quite a bit but still...) then please let me know I am really on the edge about making this buy and best buy has no clue when there getting this in
I wish there was a site for that too
!! but with that all said please leave any comments or questions you have for me at the bottom, From what I see this is hands down the best lappy I can get for the price.

Does anyone know how accurate the tigerdirect reviews are?

I don't use Tiger, but I'm sure the reviews are just as accurate as New Egg.
The reviews pretty much speak for themselves.
The ones made by people that don't know what they are talking about, stand out as just that. Some are just trivial and unrelated to reality, and really stick out.
Most are that type, but if you read them all, there is some useful info, and you can tell the difference usually.
These reviews are made by customers, so they will run the gambit.
I have seen dozens of manufacturers, answer complaints at the New Egg Reviews.
Asus, used to be my favorite manufacturer, but latley, I'm not so sure, I would buy anything from them.
By the way did you see BB made this list.
The 15 Most Hated Companies in America - Douglas A. McIntyre, Michael B. Sauter, and Ashley C. Allen - Business - The Atlantic
I have only bought from them 1 time in the last 10 years, and it was an emergence.
My laptop network card died, and I needed it right away.
I figure how can you go wrong, for $10.
Of course they had to make me feel lucky they would sell it at that price, because it was online only.
When I got home, I checked.
It even said, available in any store.
30 years ago, before they went nation wide, they had a customer, shopping for TVs, arrested, for recording TV prices on his laptop.
